Project Coordinator – Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) activities in the Central African Republic. The role supports IOM’s mission to provide humanitarian assistance, protection, and data‑driven solutions for displaced populations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the design, implementation and monitoring of DTM surveys and data collection processes.
• Ensure timely production of displacement data, analysis and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with government authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and local partners to integrate DTM findings into humanitarian response plans.
• Maintain data quality standards, oversee data entry, validation and database management.
• Provide logistical and operational support for field teams, including training and capacity‑building activities.

Required profile

• University degree in social sciences, humanitarian affairs, statistics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in displacement tracking, data collection or project coordination in humanitarian settings.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multi‑stakeholder environments and adapt to challenging security contexts.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
