EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening policy dialogue, institutional cooperation and programme governance between European and African space stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate policy dialogue and coordination between EU and African Union institutions on space matters.
• Provide advisory support on programme governance, steering mechanisms and inter‑institutional processes.
• Analyse and interpret EU space policy and African space governance frameworks, including the African Space Agency and Regional Economic Communities.
• Support knowledge exchange, innovation initiatives and private‑sector engagement within the partnership.
• Prepare briefing notes, reports and strategic recommendations for senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy or institutional advisory work.
• At least 4 years of experience with EU and/or African Union policy frameworks and institutional processes.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
