Finance, HR & Logistics Manager – Bangui, Central African Republic

About the role

The Finance, HR and Logistics Manager will oversee the financial, human‑resource and logistical operations of our mission in Bangui, reporting to the Country Peacebuilding Manager and the UK Director of Finance. The role ensures compliance with local regulations, donor requirements and internal controls while supporting a small team of officers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead administrative and HR functions, including legal monitoring, staff contracts, recruitment, training, performance appraisals and safeguarding compliance.
• Supervise the full accounting cycle, cash‑flow management, bank reconciliations, monthly closings and preparation for internal and external audits.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, produce financial reports for donors, analyse expenditures and manage tax filings.
• Oversee logistics and procurement in line with EU PRAG and Concordis policies, and manage IT and communication equipment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or professional qualification in finance, accounting, economics or business administration.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial, HR and logistics management within an NGO or international organization.
• Proven ability to report to European Union donors and to implement strong internal controls.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Budget tracking, cash‑flow forecasting and treasury management.
• Tax compliance and preparation of tax returns.
• Knowledge of EU procurement procedures (PRAG) and SharePoint document management.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary of €50 000–€54 000.
• 33 days of annual leave plus rest‑and‑relief (R&R) days.
