Communications, Advocacy and External Engagement Manager

About the role

The Communications, Advocacy and External Engagement Manager provides strategic communications leadership for World Vision Central African Republic, shaping the organization’s reputation, advocacy influence and fundraising impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy that strengthens the World Vision brand and produces high‑quality multimedia content.
• Lead emergency communication preparedness, media relations, donor visits and high‑profile engagements.
• Oversee internal communications, staff engagement, content generation systems and compliance with branding standards.
• Design and execute advocacy campaigns, coordinate with national and regional teams, and ensure evidence‑based messaging.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, UN agencies, INGOs, government authorities and local partners.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of advocacy, communications and donor‑engagement experience, with at least 3 years in a management role in the humanitarian sector.
• Fluent in English and good French skills, strong writing ability and alignment with World Vision’s Christian values.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and work in field locations.
