Programme Coordinator – Livelihoods

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Programme Coordinator (Livelihoods) to support its stabilisation and solutions‑oriented programme in the Central African Republic. The role will contribute to improving infrastructure, essential services and social cohesion in both hosting and return communities, aligning with national development and durable solutions strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the design, implementation and monitoring of livelihoods interventions in line with the CAR National Development Plan and UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework.
• Collaborate with government authorities, local partners, civil society and the private sector to ensure programme relevance and effectiveness.
• Prepare regular progress reports, data collection tools and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, financial tracking and resource mobilisation for livelihood activities.
• Facilitate community engagement and promote social cohesion among host and return populations.

Required profile

• Open to first‑tier (internal and candidates from under‑represented IOM Member States) and second‑tier external candidates.
• Preference for qualified female candidates and applicants from non‑represented member countries.
