Russian Interpreter

About the role

AccIndy is looking for a freelance Russian‑French interpreter to provide accurate, real‑time interpretation for a variety of sectors. The work is performed remotely, allowing you to work from a quiet, distraction‑free environment.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to speakers in Russian or French, understand and retain the message, and reproduce it in the target language.
• Maintain a professional demeanor throughout all interpreting sessions, whether via video call, phone, or other online platforms.
• Take concise notes to support memory and ensure precision.
• Research terminology and industry‑specific jargon before assignments.
• Coordinate with AccIndy’s internal support team to manage workload and schedule.
• Adapt to AccIndy’s platforms and use required equipment such as microphones and headsets.

Required profile

• Fluent in both Russian and French with a proven track record in interpretation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an interpreting certificate or language‑related degree is mandatory.
• Strong people skills and excellent communication abilities.
• At least 18 years old and able to work independently in a quiet space.

Required skills

• Interpretation of spoken content, including jargon and acronyms.
• Familiarity with terminology in medical, insurance, finance, and legal fields.
• Ability to use remote‑working tools and audio equipment.
