Project Coordinator – Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) activities in the Central African Republic. Based in Bangui, the incumbent will support IOM’s multi‑sectoral humanitarian response by ensuring accurate data collection, analysis and reporting on displacement trends.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the design, implementation and monitoring of DTM surveys across the country.
• Manage data collection teams, provide training and ensure adherence to methodological standards.
• Analyze displacement data, produce regular situation reports and briefings for partners and donors.
• Liaise with government authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and community leaders to facilitate data sharing and joint planning.
• Maintain the DTM database, ensure data quality and support the integration of findings into broader IOM programmes.
• Prepare logistical arrangements for field missions, including travel, security and procurement.

Required profile

• University degree in social sciences, humanitarian studies, international relations or a related field.
• Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within displacement tracking or humanitarian data management.
• Strong understanding of displacement dynamics and the DTM methodology.
• Ability to work in a conflict‑affected environment and adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
