Private Sector Engagement Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation, investment and commercial opportunities across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies to increase private‑sector involvement in space‑related projects.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to identify business opportunities.
• Facilitate matchmaking between companies, entrepreneurs, investors and research institutions.
• Support commercialization pathways and access to finance for space and geospatial technologies.
• Provide policy and institutional advice to enhance sustainable African space ecosystems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or four additional years of relevant experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis, business support, matchmaking or access‑to‑finance activities.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector, preferably with African context.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
