Sales Specialist – Heavy Equipment

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to join its Heavy Equipment division in the Central African Republic. You will promote a range of agriculture, construction and mining machinery, representing one of the world’s leading manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Meet monthly sales targets and achieve pipeline and collection goals.
• Prospect, qualify and generate new leads for multiple product lines.
• Contact prospective clients through calls and visits to showcase products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Maintain and update activities in the CRM system.
• Monitor competitors, new products and market conditions to understand customer needs.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to the line manager.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum matric/grade 12; tertiary education is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in the heavy‑equipment or yellow‑machinery sector.
• Technical aptitude for understanding machinery specifications and applications.
• Knowledge of construction, mining or agricultural equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Own a reliable vehicle, laptop and cellphone.

Required skills

• Heavy equipment sales (mobile crane, tower crane, concrete equipment, excavator, dump truck).
• Understanding of machinery specifications.
• CRM usage.
