MEAL Officer (P-2) – Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer (P-2) to support its operations in the Central African Republic. The officer will contribute to the design, implementation and improvement of MEAL systems across IOM programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt monitoring and evaluation frameworks, tools and indicators for IOM projects.
• Oversee data collection, ensure data quality and conduct analysis to produce timely reports.
• Support accountability mechanisms, including feedback and grievance handling.
• Facilitate learning activities, such as workshops and knowledge‑sharing sessions, to integrate lessons into programme design.
• Coordinate with government, UN agencies, NGOs and other partners to align MEAL activities.
• Ensure compliance with IOM policies and standards throughout the MEAL cycle.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Familiarity with IOM operations and multi‑sectoral programme environments.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
