INGO Forum Coordinator – Humanitarian Coordination Lead

About the role

The INGO Forum Coordinator will lead the overall management and strategic direction of the Country Coordination Office (CCO), ensuring effective coordination, governance and collaboration among international NGOs operating in the Central African Republic. Based in Bangui, the role represents INGO interests at national and global levels, drives advocacy, and strengthens partnerships with governments, UN agencies, donors and civil society.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the CCO, overseeing coordination mechanisms and governance structures.
• Represent INGO positions in policy dialogues, advocacy forums and multi‑stakeholder platforms.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with government bodies, UN agencies, donors and local civil‑society actors.
• Oversee project implementation, resource mobilisation, financial sustainability and compliance.
• Supervise Secretariat staff, ensuring robust operational systems, information sharing and analysis.
• Promote inclusive, locally‑led responses and uphold accountability to affected populations in line with humanitarian, development and peacebuilding principles.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in international relations, political science, development or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in humanitarian or conflict settings.
• Senior leadership or coordination experience (e.g., Country Director or Forum Coordination).
• Proven experience in advocacy and multi‑stakeholder coordination.
• Experience managing multicultural teams.
• Fluent in French and English (written and verbal).
• Based in Bangui with willingness to travel up to approximately 15% of the time.
