Health System Strengthening Programme Manager

About the role

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is recruiting a dedicated Manager for the KfW‑funded Health Systems Strengthening programme in the Central African Republic and Chad. The IFRC is the world’s largest humanitarian network, supporting its member societies to build community resilience in health, climate, migration and other areas. This position will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of community‑based primary health care, health‑facility rehabilitation and institutional capacity strengthening activities across targeted health zones.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement, monitor and manage performance of the health system strengthening programme.
• Ensure effective integration of infrastructure rehabilitation and health‑workforce components.
• Report to and work under the supervision of the Coordinator, Health and Care.

Required profile

• Experience in managing health‑system reconstruction or strengthening projects.
• Ability to work in a humanitarian context with national Red Cross societies.
• Commitment to the IFRC values and zero‑tolerance policies.
