Drupal Web Developer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a talented Drupal Web Developer to join our remote team. You will design, build, and maintain complex web applications on the Drupal platform, collaborating with project managers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver secure, high‑performing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain Drupal‑based websites and applications.
• Develop custom modules and themes using clean PHP and JavaScript code.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs into Drupal solutions.
• Perform core updates, apply security patches, and ensure module compatibility.
• Test, debug, and optimise front‑end and back‑end performance for speed and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and support teammates.
• Document technical specifications and system architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with Drupal (preferably versions 9/10).
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Familiarity with command‑line tools, Git, CI/CD pipelines and local development environments such as Docker.
• Self‑motivated with excellent time‑management and communication skills.
• Experience with headless/decoupled Drupal, automated testing and Agile/Scrum workflows.
