Service Technician – Audio/Video Installations

About the role

The Service Technician will work independently and as part of a team to deliver project‑based audio/video installations and respond to service calls. The role requires a professional, organized individual who can manage multiple tasks, maintain documentation, and ensure timely completion of daily assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Complete complex audio/video installs, setup, and calibration.
• Design and install control systems (control, lighting, shading) and theater rooms.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of simple and complex AV systems.
• Design, install, and configure networking and data systems.
• Program advanced AV systems and support legacy or third‑party products.
• Configure multi‑room AV solutions and security system programming.
• Work on‑site at customer locations, handling projectors, screens, displays, wiring, cabling, computer controls, and rack‑building.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly detailed, organized, and able to multitask.
• Willingness to work a rotating on‑call service schedule.
• Clean driving record and successful background check.
• Minimum of 3 years field experience in AV installations.
