About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a qualified professional to lead the prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment (PSEAH) in its Central African Republic operations. This position supports IOM’s commitment to a safe, respectful workplace and to delivering protection services to vulnerable populations.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation of IOM’s PSEAH strategy across its five pillars: leadership and culture, accountability, capacity‑development, victim assistance, and partnership.
- Coordinate PSEAH prevention and response activities with government, UN agencies, civil society and other partners in the Central African Republic.
- Contribute to the delivery of humanitarian assistance and protection services for internally displaced persons, returnees, refugees and other vulnerable groups.
- Promote institutional transparency and accountability in line with UN and IASC guidelines.
Required profile
- Qualified female candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
- Open to internal IOM staff and external candidates from non‑represented IOM Member States.
- Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for first‑tier or second‑tier candidates as defined by IOM.
