Egocentric Video Data Collector (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to record first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. The captured videos will be used to train next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots. This is a remote, contract‑based position that requires you to work independently while following strict technical guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Record raw POV video of routine tasks (e.g., cleaning, organizing) using a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses.
• Wear provided head straps or smart‑glasses mounts to keep hands and objects in view.
• Follow exact recording specifications: stable lighting, landscape orientation, required resolution and frame rate, and proper camera angles.
• Upload unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and re‑record clips if they do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a modern smartphone capable of 1080p video at 30 or 60 FPS (device provided if needed).
• Suitable residential or workspace environment for realistic daily‑task recording.
• Strong attention to detail to keep hands visible, avoid mirrors or reflections, and maintain steady framing.
• Privacy‑conscious: ensure no faces, personal IDs, or sensitive data are captured.
• Self‑starter able to commit 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.
