Cocoa Developer for Open Source Espionage Project

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Cocoa developer to help transition the Espionage encryption application to a sustainable open‑source model. The role focuses on redesigning the UI, ensuring the codebase remains healthy, and exploring novel funding mechanisms such as cryptocurrency.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the core team to open‑source the Espionage macOS application responsibly.
• Refactor and improve the user interface using modern Cocoa best practices.
• Implement and integrate GPG‑based encryption workflows.
• Research and prototype cryptocurrency‑based funding solutions.
• Maintain code quality, documentation, and community engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of professional experience with Cocoa and Objective‑C.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience with the Espionage application or similar macOS encryption tools.
• Interest in information security and sustainable software development.
