Database Officer (Professional)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Database Officer to support its operations in the Central African Republic. The role will contribute to IOM’s mission of promoting humane and orderly migration by ensuring reliable data management for humanitarian assistance and protection programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update IOM databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Support data collection, validation, and reporting for programmes delivering shelter, WASH, health, and protection services.
• Collaborate with programme teams, government partners, and UN agencies to provide timely data for decision‑making.
• Assist in the preparation of statistical reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with IOM data security policies and confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Open to first‑ and second‑tier candidates, with priority given to internal staff and applicants from non‑represented IOM Member States.
