Consortium Manager – SECURE Program

About the role

The Consortium Manager will lead the coordination of the SECURE programme, a four‑year initiative to professionalise and economically empower community health workers in the Central African Republic. Reporting to the Coordinator, Health and Care, the role sits within the Country Cluster Delegation and works closely with IFRC, the Central African Red Cross, the Ministry of Health and other partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the multi‑tiered consortium governance structure, ensuring effective collaboration among partners.
• Facilitate context analysis, alignment of plans and coordinated use of resources across the programme.
• Support regional and global advisory mechanisms to guide programme implementation.
• Strengthen capacities of cluster National Societies in disaster prevention, response and recovery related to community health.
• Monitor and report on programme progress, risks and outcomes to senior IFRC leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing multi‑partner humanitarian or health programmes.
• Strong understanding of community health workforce development and resilience building.
• Ability to work in complex, multi‑cultural environments and coordinate across NGOs, government and donors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
