AV Service & Installation Technician

About the role

The AV Service & Installation Technician works independently and with a team to deliver project‑based audio‑visual installations and service calls. The role requires timely completion of tasks, accurate documentation, and a professional, organized approach.

Key responsibilities

• Complete complex audio/video installations, setup, and calibration.
• Design and install control systems (lighting, shading) and theater rooms.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on simple and complex AV systems.
• Design, install, and configure networking and data systems.
• Program advanced AV systems and support legacy or third‑party products.
• Configure multi‑room AV solutions and security system programming.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly detailed, organized, and able to multitask.
• Willingness to work a rotating on‑call service schedule.
• Clean driving record and successful background check.
• Minimum of 3 years field experience with AV equipment.
• Experience working onsite at customer locations.
