System Engineer – Infrastructure Support

About the role

XML International is seeking an experienced infrastructure professional to provide secure and reliable IT services in an international operational environment based in Bangui.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Support enterprise SAN/NAS storage, capacity management and replication.
• Maintain VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization environments.
• Support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and AWS services.
• Manage backups, restoration testing and disaster recovery preparedness.
• Perform security updates, patch management and infrastructure monitoring.
• Support SCCM administration, resolve incidents and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience in server administration, storage, cloud services and enterprise infrastructure support.
• Advanced certifications in Microsoft and virtualization technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with production infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Fluent English; French is desirable.
• Willingness to relocate and work fully on‑site in Bangui.
• High school diploma or equivalent; IT‑related degree is desirable.
