Software Engineer – AI Data Annotation (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer Annotator to join our remote team and help improve the quality of software engineering datasets used to train AI and large language models. The role combines strong programming expertise with careful evaluation and labeling of AI‑generated code.

Key responsibilities

• Review and annotate software engineering datasets that feed AI training pipelines.
• Assess AI‑generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.
• Label tasks such as code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization.
• Provide structured feedback to enhance model performance.
• Follow annotation guidelines and maintain high quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with data annotation, AI training or code review is a plus.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML or LLM concepts is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, C++ or Go.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms and software engineering principles.
• Familiarity with APIs, backend systems and web technologies.
• Experience using annotation or labeling platforms.
