Regional Sponsorship Coordinator – Strategic Support

About the role

The Regional Sponsorship Coordinator provides strategic support and technical leadership for World Vision’s sponsorship programmes across the region. This role ensures effective sponsorship business systems, data management, and operational capacity to deliver on the organisation’s mission to transform vulnerable children’s lives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical thought leader on sponsorship policy, standards, and implementation across the region.
• Support field offices in establishing compliant systems and mechanisms aligned with World Vision policies.
• Lead regional efforts to enhance child participation and improve sponsorship business processes.
• Coordinate regional data analysis to inform strategic decisions and capacity‑building initiatives.
• Drive operational and performance review processes, feeding insights into planning, budgeting, and feedback cycles.
• Collaborate with Regional and Global technical teams to strengthen sponsorship management and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sponsorship management, policy implementation, and operational oversight.
• Strong analytical abilities to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead regional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of child participation principles within sponsorship programmes.
