About the role
The International Rescue Committee seeks a Deputy Director, Programs to lead the Cameroon‑CAR country program, overseeing a $12M portfolio and ensuring high‑quality, timely delivery of humanitarian services.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee program implementation, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with donor regulations.
- Lead the development and execution of the Country Strategy Action Plan, aligning programs with IRC priorities and outcomes.
- Guide grants and business development efforts, securing financing and producing high‑quality donor reports.
- Coordinate cross‑departmental collaboration and partnership strategies to advance localization and innovation.
Required profile
- Dynamic senior leader with proven ability to drive strategic priorities and motivate diverse, partly remote teams.
- Strong collaborator who can foster partnerships, empower staff (especially female leaders), and ensure effective communication across departments.
