National Field Engineer (3 Positions)

About the role

The National Field Engineer will support community infrastructure and rapid‑impact projects in the Central African Republic under the KODRO project. Reporting to the Programme Manager and directly to the Engineer, the role involves field‑based construction supervision and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and support community infrastructure and quick‑impact projects, collaborating with project teams.
• Develop and implement quality inspection plans for construction activities.
• Monitor compliance with method statements and the quality management system on site.
• Prepare reports, communicate findings, and ensure safety vigilance in challenging environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in construction management, QA/QC, and field quality control.
• Strong communication and report‑writing skills in French; practical English is an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure in multicultural, difficult conditions.
