Global Fund Project Finance Director

About the role

The Global Fund Project Finance Director will lead the financial management of the Global Fund grant for World Vision International Central African Republic. Reporting to the Chief of Party, you will ensure compliance, robust internal controls, and accurate financial reporting across all sub‑recipients and service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain all sub‑recipient agreements, grant files, and key documents in line with donor and World Vision policies.
• Produce donor‑facing financial reports on time, coordinating with program, M&E, and finance teams to ensure quality analysis.
• Review management letters, resolve issues promptly with the Fund Portfolio Program Manager and country team.
• Identify budgeting and compliance needs, design and deliver training for Global Fund staff and sub‑recipients.
• Track budget execution, monitor compliance, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Coordinate capacity assessments and build financial management capacity of sub‑recipients and the Ministry of Health.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate compliance‑related risks and liabilities.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and English (must).
• Extensive experience in grant finance, preferably with Global Fund or similar multi‑donor grants.
• Strong knowledge of international financial regulations, internal controls, and audit processes.
• Proven ability to work with NGOs, government ministries, and international donors.
