CMS Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Content Management System applications. This fully remote position involves creating robust architectures, custom themes, and plugins while ensuring responsive, secure, and high‑performance web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale customized CMS solutions (WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, Magento).
• Build custom themes, modules, and plugins from scratch.
• Implement responsive designs, cross‑browser compatibility, and performance tuning.
• Configure custom post types, fields, and user-friendly editing interfaces.
• Maintain site security, backups, updates, and user authentication.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders.
• Document code and technical decisions for future reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development with a focus on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to design detail.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), JavaScript (ES6+).
• Server‑side languages: PHP, Python, Ruby.
• Hands‑on experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, Magento.
• API integration, database management, custom backend architecture.
• Technical SEO, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics.
