PSEAH Officer (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse & Harassment)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a PSEAH Officer to lead the prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment (PSEAH) within its Central African Republic country office. The officer will support IOM’s commitment to a safe, respectful workplace and ensure effective response mechanisms for victims.

Key responsibilities

• Implement IOM’s PSEAH strategy across five pillars: leadership and culture, accountability, capacity development, victim assistance, and partnership.
• Lead prevention and response activities, including case management, investigations and coordination with government, UN agencies and civil society.
• Develop and deliver training, communication and awareness‑raising materials for staff and partners.
• Ensure institutional accountability and transparency through monitoring, reporting and compliance with UN and IASC standards.
• Provide quality, accessible assistance to victims of sexual exploitation, abuse or harassment.
• Foster partnerships and coordination mechanisms with relevant stakeholders to strengthen PSEAH efforts.

Required profile

• Professional experience in protection, gender‑based violence or related humanitarian fields, preferably at P‑3 level.
• Demonstrated knowledge of UN and IOM PSEAH policies and frameworks.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and liaise with government and international partners.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.

Required skills
