Food Services Director

About the role

CBRC Health & Fitness is looking for a hands‑on Food Services Director to lead and grow its food and beverage operations, including a year‑round Deli, a seasonal Sandbar, beer and wine sales, and special‑event catering. This full‑time leadership role combines strategic oversight with day‑to‑day involvement to ensure a consistently great member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Deli, overseeing food preparation, presentation, service quality and cleanliness.
• Manage seasonal operations at the Sandbar, including staffing, inventory, service standards and execution.
• Oversee beer and wine purchasing, inventory, pricing, merchandising, staff training and responsible service practices.
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol licensing, age‑verification and health‑department regulations.
• Coordinate food and beverage support for special events, programs and club activities.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise and develop food‑service team members.
• Control purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory levels and product rotation.
• Monitor food, beverage and labor costs, making decisions that balance quality and financial performance.
• Develop menus, specials, seasonal offerings and beverage selections that appeal to members and guests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food‑service or hospitality management, preferably in a club or resort setting.
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to work alongside the team.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation and alcohol service regulations.
• Excellent communication and guest‑service orientation.
• Ability to build and maintain vendor relationships and manage budgets.
